Jag vill tipsa om den här konferensen som jag med strösta sannolikhet kommer att åka på. Konferensen anordnas av Lunds universitet och äger rum vid Campus Helsingborg den 1-2 juni och det finns fortfarande möjlighet att anmäla sig fram till den 22 maj.
Lite information om konferensen:
The focus will be on two fundamental questions; one concerning the relationship between religion and science, using the presently much discussed controversy between Evolutionary Theory and Intelligent Design Theory as a case study; and the second on the role of Religious Free Schools in an Open Society.
Our speakers will present ideas from a number of different disciplines including Biology, History, Sociology and the Philosophy of Science, Theology, Political Theory and Philosophy; and present the legal and political context as a necessary background for the discussion.
The speakers represent universities, educational institutions and media in different countries and so do the participating students.
